Homemade Bruschetta

 One of my favorite appetizers is Bruschetta! Easy and quick to make, this healthy and delicious recipe will be a favorite at your family meals! I use 5 medium organic tomatoes on the vine.


Ingredients:

5 medium organic tomatoes, coarsely chopped

6-7 cloves garlic, minced

3 tbs fresh basil, chopped

Olive oil

Balsamic vinegar

1/2 tsp oregano

1/2 tsp garlic powder

salt and pepper to taste

Place coarsely chopped tomatoes in a bowl. Add minced garlic and chopped fresh basil and toss together. Add oregano and garlic powder. Then, generously add olive oil and balsamic vinegar to taste. Add some pepper, toss and you have an amazingly delicious bruschetta!

Serve on crusty Italian or French bread! Enjoy!
