Blueberry, Strawberry, Banana Smoothie

 


One of my favorite smoothies to make is a blueberry, strawberry, banana smoothie since I usually always have in my freezer a big bag of organic blueberries and strawberries on hand, some healthy almond milk in my refrigerator, and some bananas!  Quick and easy to whip up in a few minutes, this makes a delicious and nutritious breakfast!  For a super nutrient boost, I add some organic honey and walnuts (see post on health benefits of walnuts)!!  

Ingredients:

1 banana
1 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
a handful of walnuts
1-2 tbs honey
almond milk

Directions:

Add banana, strawberries, blueberries, walnuts, and honey to the blender.  Add enough almond milk to cover all the ingredients, and then some.  You do not want an overly thick smoothie.  Blend it on high and ENJOY!!
