What would go best with Cowboy Caviar but delicious barbeque chicken! This recipe is the easiest BBQ chicken recipe that you can ever make and doesn't require mixing spices together but rather relies on the most delicious, and healthiest pre-made BBQ sauce you can find. Who just doesn't love tangy BBQ sauce? I usually have it with French fries, chicken or even fish sticks! All you need is a bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce and 2 lb of bone-in, skin-on chicken legs and thighs.
Place the chicken in a bowl and pour half the container of BBQ sauce over the top. Mix to combine then set aside while the oven heats up. You can also marinate the chicken in the fridge for up to 4 hours.
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the chicken on the baking sheet skin side down and bake the chicken for 25 minutes. Flip the chicken over and baste the top with BBP sauce that was in the marinating bowl. Return the chicken to the oven for another 25 minutes.
Turn the oven to broil and baste the top of the chicken with 1/4 cup of the BBQ sauce and broil for 3-5 minutes until the top is dark and caramelized.
So there you have it! The easiest and tastiest BBQ chicken recipe ever!! Bon Apetite!
